You might be over your GVW of your pickup. You might have to check that. If you're going in BC, they will turn you around and fine you. Other than that, its been done.

Have actually seen a few sleds sitting in the ditch in B.C. awaiting their owner to come back and pick them up after being caught for being over the truck GVW. They can hold you until you get the vehicle within the weight limits, hence the dropping of a sled or two.

I've been running around BC for 3 years with a 1500 Q/C 4x4 dodge with a 2 sled deck, you will want to add airbags to make the truck more stable, as for being parked for being over your GVW in BC. Yes it happens, but, i've never heard of them pulling anyone over for that, they usually get stopped because they were driving like idiots !! parking them for being over GVW is just a way they can legally screw with you for driving like a prick !!

I agree with SL havent known anyone to get stopped because they look like thier vehicles are overloaded with sleds but sure been stopped for driving like idiots! I have a 97 chev 1/2 ton chev 4x4 extended cab with 2 place deck and have never had issues.I even pulled a trailer with 2 sleds on it and 4 of us in the cab to Chetwynd BC and never had an issue. I use Road Master spring overloads they work better because your not messing with air all the time and it doesnt effect ride or put undo strain on your frame. I have seen many guys tear out thier frames by overloading trucks then driving like tards and ripping mounts out of frames. The ones I use dont change ride height dont effect ride performance and add the extra help only when the weight is added. They were approximatly 350 bucks with all installation hardware. Takes a mechanically inclined person about 2 hours to install and comes with new u-bolts as well.
